Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) is a type of fatty liver disease that can cause liver damage. Fatty liver disease is a condition where fat builds up in the liver, and NASH is the most severe form. NASH involves inflammation and scarring of the liver, which can lead to cirrhosis, a permanent condition that can cause liver cancer.
That’s why ClinCloud is looking for participants for research on an investigational study drug that may help people with NASH or fatty liver disease. To qualify, you or your loved one must:
- be 18 to 75 years of age
- have a diagnosis of liver disease or conditions associated with liver disease like type 2 diabetes, obesity, high cholesterol or sleep apnea
